Reload plugin tab on addition of new devices

Hi,

My plugin shows the summary for a VM like host, mac address, port group and added devices. When the user clicks on a VM I trigger the function using URL - "/services/devices/" + objectId.

However, when the user adds a new device, the tab does not automatically update the summary. Instead user has to click on another VM and then previous VM to get updated summary.

One way is to add a Refresh button and call the same function again.

Is there an easier way to just reload the tab when a new device is added?
