Hi,
We recently upgraded our plugin from version 1.6.2 to 1.6.3. The code was developed from the 0.9.7 seed for 1.6.2, and had minimal changes to the new version (no changes to the extension point definitions).
If we register 1.6.3 to a VC where the plugin has not been installed previously, then it works as expected and our menu extension point is shown.
However, if we perform an upgrade from 1.6.2. to 1.6.3. using the VC Extension Managed (RegisterExtension method), then we find that the shortcut menu for our plugin is not shown.
If we login and out of the web client from a browser, then there is no affect and the shortcut is not seen.
If we restart the vsphere-ui service on the VCSA, then the menu item is again shown in the H5 client.
This appears to only affect the H5 client, not Flex.
