I am hitting this issue described in - Re: AMF Channel Issue
It is a bit crippling when this happens that the channel becomes unavailable for any further service calls and a full browser refresh is the only way out. I was wondering if it is possible in the web client to show a non-disruptive notification; ideally something like how the objects view shows a transient popup that disappears in a while when we populate a DataException in the ResultSet.
An orthogonal question - Is it possible for us to define our own servlets in our plugin to eventually delegate to our java API calls instead of using the BlazeDS infrastructure?
