We run several VM's on a Dell 2950 with 32GB ram. Just recently I have noticed that in the first few hours after boot the resource allocation of a domain controller shows the Host memory 'build' from using about 5GB at boot to the full 20GB available and it never comes down again. The Guest memory is at about 1GB most of the time. I can't work out if this has any effect on performance , and wonder if this is 'normal' or if we have something wrong.
