using vCenter Server's embedded database

Hi all,

i want maintain a database for my plugin. so instead of creating a new one can i use the existing vCenter server's embedded database to keep my data.

if no, then if i have to save a file on vcenter server (my plugin need to use that) then where shall i save the file.
