Mapping the Predefined Privileges to those shown in GUI->Administration->Roles->Privileges

Hi,

this time I have a question about the Web Client GUI itself.  I have been working on checking for predefined privileges before offering functionality in our plugin.

I am able to find out whether the privilege is granted for an object in my data provider.

Now I'm ready to test, so I've:

- created a new user in the WebClient

- created a role which will be assigned to this user for an object (Host)

Now I want to assign the privileges to the role, but am having problems understanding the GUI.

I go to Administration->Roles

- create a new role

- click on the "privileges" tab.

Here I see a tree containing all the privileges which can be assigned to the role, but I am not able to map these 1x1 to

those I am looking for.  One example is

"Host.Config.Settings" which is needed to perform the operation UpdateIPMI() for a host.

So, in the tree I open

v Host

     v Configuration

I expected to see "Settings", but found only

- Advanced settings

- Change settings

So my question is, how do I know which of these to set (without trial and error). Is there a documentation which maps the Privileges  seen in the GUI to

the "real" ones like "Host.Config.Settings"?  The Help link to the Documentation link is not really any help here.

Here are the privileges for which I find no settings (at least it is not intuitive)

Host.Config.Autostart

Host.Config.Settings

Host.Config.NetService

Thanks for the Info.

Cathy
